On hold: one source has not arrived.

Connected systems / Real operating rules

The difficult part is keeping everything in step.

Complex automation involves more than passing text from one tool to another. It needs reliable sources, clear permissions, checks for changing records and a safe route for exceptions.

An AI-assisted broker portal

Turn source specifications into reviewable listing data; prepare bounded changes inside the broker’s current yacht record; carry approved content into language versions, images and two brochure types.

Existing project: a yacht brokerage. Publishing is live; selected action and update capabilities were built and tested, and are switched off for now.

Documents into checked operational records

Combine a new specification, the current record and approved rules into a proposed change set. Flag conflicting units, missing evidence and duplicate fields. Let the responsible person select changes, then check that the record has not changed before applying them.

Illustrative workflow. Scope, access and feasibility are checked for each business.

Recurring reports across several systems

Bring agreed inputs together, reconcile identifiers and reporting periods, and flag missing or unusual values before preparing the report. Keep each figure linked to its source, and give the report owner the final decision on the explanation and release.

Illustrative workflow. Exceptions and approvals are part of the design.

01 / Work you recognise

Where does connected work get stuck?

Start with a task your team repeats. These are examples of what a better workflow could support.

Several sources need reconciling

Prepare a change set from the source material and current record. A person resolves conflicting facts before the draft is used.

One update changes several records

Carry approved changes into connected records and documents, with version conflicts, missing values and duplicates held for review.

One change means updating several outputs

Prepare pages, brochures or language versions from approved information. A person controls what is ready to publish.

Reports take another round of collecting and formatting

Assemble an agreed draft from known sources. The owner reviews gaps, unusual values and the final explanation.

02 / Existing client project · Yacht brokerage

One approved listing, several useful outputs.

A broker’s approved information supports multilingual web pages and separate client and broker brochures. The workflow keeps drafts, approvals and published material distinct, with checks before release.

AI opportunity review: one workflow

The single-workflow version of the AI opportunity review.

Scope first.

Scope and fixed fee agreed after an initial conversation.

This is an opportunity review. Implementation, software and ongoing support are scoped and priced separately. No production changes are included.

Understand one recurring process before you commit to changing it. Get a practical recommendation on what to keep, simplify, use differently or automate.

  • One workflow and one 45–60 minute interview
  • Up to ten redacted examples
  • A map of the current work, handoffs and exceptions
  • Practical options, estimated costs and benefits, and the assumptions behind them
  • A short recommendation and next-step brief

Five working days from the agreed start, once the interview and usable inputs are complete.

The scope, fixed fee and commercial terms are agreed before work starts.

The recommendation may be to simplify the process or keep it manual. You can use the review with your own team or another supplier.

First project

Already know what needs to change?

We can discuss a defined implementation directly. The scope, tests, running costs, handover and price are agreed before work starts.

Talk about a first project

Fractional Head of AI

Need someone to lead the work over time?

A fractional Head of AI can cover priorities, delivery, suppliers and team adoption. Time commitment and responsibilities are agreed for the engagement.

04 / How the work moves forward

Understand it. Improve it.
Make ownership clear.

01

Understand the work

Agree the start, finish, people involved and what a useful result looks like.

02

Choose and scope the change

Start with the tools already in use. Agree the costs, access and decisions that stay with people.

03

Build and test, if justified

Test ordinary work and known exceptions before an agreed live change.

04

Hand it over

Name the owner, explain how it runs and agree what support comes next.

06 / Practical questions

Before we start.

Does the review include a working automation?

The review fee covers an opportunity review of one workflow. A build, software costs and ongoing support are scoped and priced separately.

Do we have to buy the review first?

If the task and requirements are already clear, we can discuss an implementation directly. The review is useful when you need to decide what to change or whether it is worth doing.

Does this need AI or a new system?

Not always. A clearer process, template or feature in an existing tool may be enough. Any new software is discussed before a build is agreed.

What do you need from us?

For the review, someone who knows the workflow and up to ten usable, redacted examples. An introductory conversation can start with a simple description.

What happens if something is wrong or missing?

The implementation scope defines the checks, exception route and decisions that need a person. These are tested with the team before an agreed live change.

Who owns it after handover?

Account ownership, deliverables, licences, instructions and support responsibilities are agreed in the proposal. A named person in your team owns the day-to-day process.

07 / Talk through a workflow

Which workflow would you like to talk through?

A short conversation can help establish the right next step: an opportunity review, a defined build or ongoing leadership.
